My honest experience

What I noticed after several weeks

I tested the Skin Perfecting Cream for several weeks. After the first week my skin felt noticeably less dry, especially on my cheeks and around my nose. After a few weeks my skin looked more even, and the fine lines on my forehead and around my eyes were less visible.

What I liked most: after a long, stressful day my skin felt refreshed and comfortable again. I got compliments on how fresh my skin looked, even without make-up. And it’s a lovely base for make-up, too.

My skin tends to be oily, so for me the evening is enough. My own daily routine is built around cream medium and the Hydro serum (see my routine), and the Skin Perfecting Cream is the extra I reach for in the evening.

My husband’s one-and-only cream

For his face, my husband only uses the Skin Perfecting Cream, and only every other evening, because it’s so rich. Besides that, he uses the FRESH deodorant and our absolute household favorite, the FRESH soap bar.

RINGANA itself recommends the cream as an extra step on top of your usual routine. So if you already have a routine, simply add it as your last step.

How to use it

  • Last step: apply it after your serum and cream, as the richest texture.
  • Massage it in: in the evening, I take a few minutes to massage it into my face. It feels like a mini facial.
  • Eye and lip area: it’s made for delicate areas too. In the evening you can apply a little more there.
  • Stressful days: I apply a generous layer, almost like a light overnight mask.
  • Bonus: RINGANA pairs it with the Overnight retinal cream: retinal cream on the face, Skin Perfecting Cream around the eyes and lips.

Who it’s for

It’s richest and most comforting on dry and mature skin, and RINGANA says it suits all skin types as an extra step. If your skin tends to be oily like mine, use it in the evening. For me that’s enough.

Is it worth $109.30?

It’s one of RINGANA’s more expensive products, so here’s my honest take. If you’re just starting out, begin with the basics for your skin type (see my skincare routine). If you want one product that makes your skin look and feel cared for, or you love a minimal routine like my husband, this is the one I’d choose.

Questions

Skin Perfecting Cream: your questions

Is Skin Perfection the same as the Skin Perfecting Cream?

Yes. In Europe it’s called FRESH skin perfection, and in the US it’s FRESH skin perfecting cream.

How much is the RINGANA Skin Perfecting Cream in the US?

$109.30 for 30 ml (1.01 fl oz) at ringana.us (October 2026).

Can I use it around my eyes?

Yes. It’s made for the face, neck and décolleté, including the eye and lip area.

Does it replace my moisturizer?

RINGANA recommends it as an extra step on top of your routine. My husband uses it as his only face cream, every other evening, and that works for him.

Is it suitable for oily skin?

RINGANA says it suits all skin types. It’s a rich cream, so with oily skin I’d use it in the evening. That’s how I use it.

Is it vegan?

Yes. RINGANA says all its cosmetics are vegan and dermatologist tested.
